Fisher Electronics is a US based subsidiary company of Japanese electronics conglomerate Sanyo specialising in the field of hi-fi electronics.

Established in 1945 and named after founder Avery Fisher, the company produces a wide variety of products including portable digital audio products, slim audio systems, and home theater systems.

The company was originally formed in 1945 by audio electronics pioneer Avery Fisher, before being sold to the Emerson Electric Company for USD $31 million in 1969. It was subsequently sold by Emerson Electric to Sanyo Electric of Japan in 1975 where it has remained since. Avery Fisher remained as a consultant for Emerson and Sanyo.
