FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2011

The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2011 are to be held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, Germany, in February 2011. The FIS awarded the Alpine World Skiing Championships on May 25, 2006 in Vilamoura, Portugal. The other finalist was Schladming.

Since the 1978 Alpine World Ski Championships, the last five propositions of Garmisch to organize the championships were unsuccessful.
