[edit] Welcome to the Wikipedia!
Hello, and Welcome to the Wikipedia, Firewall62! Thanks for the copy edit over on the Biochemistry article. Here are a few perfunctory tips to hasten your acculturation into the Wikipedia experience:
- Take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial and Manual of Style.
- When you have time, please peruse The five pillars of Wikipedia, and assume good faith, but keep in mind the unique style you brought to the Wiki!
- Always be mindful of striving for NPOV, be respectful of others' POV, and remember your perspective on the meaning of neutrality is invaluable!
- If you need any help, post your question at the Help Desk.
- Explore, be bold in editing, and, above all else, have fun!
And some odds and ends: Boilerplate text, Brilliant prose, Cite your sources, Civility, Conflict resolution, How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Pages needing attention, Peer review, Policy Library, Utilities, Verifiability, Village pump, and Wikiquette; also, you can sign your name on any page by typing four tildes: ~~~~.
Best of luck, Firewall62, and most importantly, have fun! Ombudsman 04:01, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Expression of Apprecation
I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to type helpful messages of encouragement on other peoples talk pages. Your tireless dedication is remarkable and all of us veteran editors are looking forward to seeing you put forth this same effort improving Wikipedia for all users. Yankees76 02:54, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Headings
Hi. Just a note. This edit was against Wikipedia conventions (WP:MoS#Headings). There should be no capitals except for the first word and proper names. I thought I'd let you know. :) You can reply here if you have comments. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 15:14, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, OK. Thank you very much for letting me know. That is a shame since the newspaper headlines look stupid in an encyclopedia. But I am glad that I know how to properly construct them now. In the future, I will be more careful.
- Cool. :) Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 18:50, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A(n) Heiress
Hi there, for some reason I stopped by the Paris Hilton article today. I noticed in the first section that heiress was preceded by "a" instead of "an," so I changed it because I like fixing little things. Had I known that you had made the reverse change a few minutes ago, I might have taken a few minutes or left an edit summary or something. You'll find justification for my revert here A and an. davewho2 21:35, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
