[edit] Welcome!
Hi there! I realise we are in disagreement about whether or not the Utopia General Talk article should be kept, but that is no reason not to welcome you to Wikipedia!! I hope you like it here and stick around. If you want, you can drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself.
A few tips before you start doing a lot of editing (by the way these are links I provide to every user I welcome):
- A few basic rules: Try to write from a neutral point of view, be bold in editing pages, and use Wikiquette.
- A handy page for newcomers is the welcome page. The Wikipedia tutorial also gives a lot of basic info that will help get you oriented on Wikipedia. If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or Wikipedia:Where to ask a question.
- When you post something on a talk/discussion page, you can sign your name by using three tildes (" ~~~ ") for your username and four (" ~~~~ ") for your username and a timestamp.
- Remember to provide an edit summary when editing.
- If you ever find yourself with nothing to do on Wikipedia, have a look at the Community Portal, you'll find that there's always something happening.
If you have any questions, comments, or just want to say hi, don't hesitate to write to me on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Happy editing! :-) Akamad Happy new year! 05:16, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
Here is the best advice I can give you. Have a look here Wikipedia:Notability (websites) if you can show that the forum meets any of the 3 criteria listed (NOTE: Alexa won't work for you since it won't give us just your forum). Then the argument against you will die and you'll get to keep your article. I'm sorry if it seems like we're being rough on you and I hope you keep contributing to wikipedia. --Pboyd04 06:04, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
