There was some biased text at the beginning "it cannot be denied that the british wanted to conquer the punjab" - I have changed and expanded on this to give a more historically accurate and neutral description of events.
More should be added about the treason committed by Lal singh and Tej Singh. The war would have gone on longer and perhaps not resulted in a Sikh defeat if they had not stunted the Sikh army's actions.76.112.20.78 (talk) 19:34, 26 April 2008 (UTC)Profitoftruth85
