I have added some observations and references made by the scholar T.N. Devare that greatly clarifies and enhances our understanding of Deccani history, and provides clear evidence that contradicting the fictitious, albeit very popular legend of the Ottoman Turkish origin of Yusuf Adil Shah by Firishta.--Jemiljan 21:20, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
