There appear to be conflicting sources as to whether this is a 1983 or a 1984 game. Most references I can find list this as a 1983 game, but atarihq.com gives 1984 as the year since, according to their website, it debuted at the 1984 Amuseument Showcase International in Chicago. Seeing as how atarihq [1] currently provides the incorrect year for the film by the same name, I am not sure how reliable they are as a source for this release and have recategorized this into Category:1983 arcade games. Virtually all other online databases and similar resources date this as a 1983 release, likely because that is what appears on the title screen.
