Description

The new First Strike Ration includes items such as the First Strike! Bar, beef jerky, nut and fruit mix, caffeinated gum, applesauce, tortillas, honey BBQ beef pocket sandwiches and filled French toast pockets. The ration is meant to provide Soldiers with three meals a day, is about the size of a single MRE, and contains only items that can be easily eaten with the hands. It is designed for Soldiers on the move. (original caption)
