First Pacific Bank (traditional Chinese: 第一太平銀行) was a bank based in Hong Kong. It was created in 1987 by the merger of Hong Nin Savings Bank and Far East Bank.
Hong Nin Savings Bank was acquired by First Pacific Group from the Government of Hong Kong after the then colonial government took over Hong Nin Savings Bank after its failure in 1986. In 1987, First Pacific Group acquired Far East Bank, which was acquired by Citibank in 1969.
Bank of East Asia eventually acquired First Pacific Bank and has since integrated its operations.
