First Meta™ is the First Major Online Bank, offering full financial and banking services to Online Residents of Virtual Worlds/Platforms, such as Linden Lab™'s Second Life™. First Meta is based in Singapore, a Financial Center and was founded by CEO Douglas Abrams / In Second Life JP Mougin and Co Founder Aileen Sim / In Second Life Tyra Fierrens.

Residents of the Virtual World can Purchase Goods using the MetaCard™ which is an Online Credit Card, which if you are a Gold Card Holder, is secured against your Real Life Credit Card.
