First Harrogate Trains is a proposed open access UK train operating company. They plan to run regular direct rail services between Harrogate and London.

First Harrogate Trains is a proposal from First Group and Renaissance Trains. First are behind many UK TOCs. Renaissance Trains are behind First Hull Trains (with First), Wrexham & Shropshire, Humber Coast & City Railway and Glasgow Trains.

If the application is successful the service will begin Summer 2009. [1]

The preferred rolling stock used would be Class 180 or Class 222 trains [2], as are both currently being used by First Hull Trains.

They will, therefore have first and second class coaches and a buffet car.
