Firouzeh Vokhshouri was born on August 7, 1948 in Tehran, Iran.

She was married to Prince Asem bin Al Nayef whom she wed in 1974. They were divorced in 1985. She held the title of Her Royal Highness Princess Firouzeh Asem of Jordan, from the date of her marriage until May of 2004, when she lost the style of HRH by order of King Abdullah.[citation needed] The correct form of address is now Princess Firouzeh Vokhshouri.

The Princess has been an attaché at the Jordanian Embassy in Madrid since 1992.
