Fireworks Over London is an indie rock band from Memphis, Tennesee.

[edit] History

The band was formed in 2001, with members Travis Passons, Jon Kenney, David Sparks, Tyler Nance, Kyle Wagenschutz.

In 2002, Tyler Nance and Kyle Wagenschutz exited the band to pursue other interests. Drew Ryan and Matt Eller then joined the lineup and Fireworks Over London began recording their first EP, Here's Where You Really Earn Your Wings. They also released a song for the compilation CD Songs For Singularity which was released by the indie label The Awareness Program.

In 2003 the band decided they were going to disband when two of the original members, Jon Kenney and David Sparks left the group.

The band reformed in 2005 with an entirely new sound and lineup consisting of Chad Bloodworth, Daniel Kenney and the only remaining original member Travis Passons. Eventually, Clay Tatum joined the band and they released the Love Is Fated EP, garnering a lot of praise from the local music scene.

In 2006, the band lineup was revamped for the last time when Chad Bloodworth left to pursue other projects. Tim Jones joined the group and began recording The White City EP. The EP would become a turning point for the group as they are now recording their first full length record in Dallas, Texas, due out in the beginning of 2008.
