Fireflies is the sixth album by country artist and Grammy award winning Faith Hill. The long anticipated album was released on August 2, 2005 which would make it nearly three years after the release of her fifth album, Cry. In its first week, the album sold 329,000 copies, making it the #1 album on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums chart. "Fireflies" is her third #1 album. It has since gone 2X Platinum. The record is a come back to country music for Faith. On charts, it has shown longevity: in its 100th week on chart, the album was still at #12 on the Country Album Chart.
