Fired Up is the debut solo album by Alesha, former member of the girl band Mis-Teeq. The debut album was originally planned for release on November 6, 2006, following the second single, but was then postponed indefinitely. The album has spawned two singles; the top 20 hit "Lipstick" and "Knockdown".
On November 6, 2006, Dixon announced that she had left Polydor Records to explore labels that will give her better promotional statistics.[citation needed] Polydor Records is willing to support her regardless of the fact of her departure, and even gave Dixon full rights to her debut album, Fired Up.[citation needed]
"Fired Up" was released, but only in Japan. It includes remixes of "Knockdown" and "Lipstick".
The song "4 U I Will", recorded for the album but not included in the final track listing, was subsequently released as a digital single.[citation needed]
