Fire and Rain (film)

"Fire and Rain" is also the name of a recording by James Taylor.

Fire and Rain is a television movie released in 1989, based on the plane crash of Delta Air Lines Flight 191 at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on August 2, 1985.

The film was written by Jerome Greer Chandler and Gary Sherman, and directed by Jerry Jameson.

  • Most of the rescue personnel seen in the film were real firefighters and paramedics from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Some of them had taken part in the actual rescue efforts following the crash on August 2, 1985, and were in effect portraying themselves.
