There are three islands named Fire Island in the U.S. state of Alaska.

[edit] In the Kashevarof Passage

One is 0.1 miles long (160 m) and located in Kashevarof Passage, off the north coast of Prince of Wales Island, at 56°14′N, 133°3′W.

Another Fire Island is in the eastern Aleutian Islands at 53°56′N, 168°2′W near Bogoslof Island.

A third Fire Island is in Cook Inlet, just off Anchorage, the largest and most well known of all of them.

A solo "experimental folk" musician from South Carolina has been performing as fire island, AK since late 2004. Since 2004, fire island, AK has recorded nine full albums, two split albums, four EPs, and a number of tracks on compilations.

Also, "Fire Island, AK" is the first single by The Long Winters on the 2006 album Putting the Days to Bed.
