"Fire" was the twelfth episode of the first season of The X-Files science-fiction television series created by Chris Carter. It deals with the idea of pyrokinesis and it is revealed the Mulder suffers from a fear of fire caused by a childhood trauma.

An old Oxford girlfriend of Mulder's asks for his help in an international case concerning the unexplainable execution of several British dignitaries and they encounter an assassin who can produce fire at will. Cecil the arsonist it is later learned can regenerate cells damaged by fire at an amazing rate.
