Fiona Elizabeth Keet-Gaunt is an English actress. She was born on May 25, 1947 in London, England. At the age of eighteen she moved to the Netherlands where in 1985 she met Dutch actor Frederik de Groot. They live together and have one daughter, Genevieve (b.1991), both reside in Amsterdam and London. She has selected English teleography.
[edit] Career
Fiona starred as Helen Smith in the 1973 British science fiction television programme Moonbase 3. Helen Smith is the base psychologist responsible for preparing regular psychological record reports (or PSIs) assessing the mental state of all personnel.[6] An expert in behavioural studies in an alien environment – her thesis was titled “Human beings adjust” – she acts as a sounding board enabling individual crew members to adapt to the situation of life on the Moon.[8] However, she develops a trend of engaging in romantic relationships with her most troubled patients as seen in “Achilles Heel” and “Outsiders”.[8][9]
Fiona also starred as Grace Lovell in the 1978 TV adaptation of R.F.Delderfield's "A Horseman Riding By". She marries the hero Paul Craddock in 1903, but leaves him a few years later to become a suffragette, and is later killed whilst working as an ambulance-driver in the First World War. She is shown walking arm-in-arm with Nigel Havers (playing her husband) in the photograph on the back cover of the late 1970s edition.
