If you leave me a message here, I will leave a reply on your page, if you want a reply here, say so - this is done because I am officially the least organised person in the world, and if I don't do that, I will never ever get the reply. I do ask that everyone signs their posts with ~~~~ so I can see when you leave your message (I might finally decide to organise the archives in some sensible manner you never know. Also, I can see who leaves the message.

Please go right ahead, as I noticed that you would be back. You will notice that your name is still set at the top of the list of the team. ~ Cheers! Dreamy § 23:06, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] RE: 2005 UEFA Champions League Final

Erm, ok, I'll comment here. I don't review GANs very often (as I'm not particularly good at it) but I'll give it a shot. Although I've noticed you haven't listed it for GA, so is this a peer review? weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 19:59, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

OK, sure, I'll also give some points (quite a lot actually) that may/will be picked up on. Oh, and welcome back to Wikipedia ^^; weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 20:14, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 2005 UEFA Champions League Final - some points to fix

Well, here goes...

[edit] Lead

  • Wikilink BBC.
  • You needn't have LIV next to the man of the match - see the 2007 article.
  • Liverpool won the match in a penalty shootout after being 3–0 down at half time to level the score at 3–3 within the first 15 minutes of the second half. Perhaps split this, or add commas?

[edit] AC Milan's Route

  • Link the countries - Spain and Ukraine, etc
  • Watch for overlinking - Andriy Shevchenko is linked many, many times.
  • Perhaps a picture here? Try Flickr.
  • Watch for clichés - by virtue of.
  • Perhaps shorten the name to "Shevchenko".
  • Perhaps wikilink handball.
  • the semi finals pie: Pardon?

[edit] Liverpool's Route

  • As with above, link the countries.
  • In their first group game against AS Monaco Djibril Cissé gave them the lead in the 22nd minute, before, Milan Baroš doubled the advantage in the 84th minute. The commas are all over the shop here.
  • back on track - bit of a cliché.
  • Once again, watch overlinking, particularly Milan Baroš.
  • A great defensive performance - POV.
  • William Gallas's - extra s there. Check if this is consistent, i.e. use s's OR s' all the way through.
  • This section is a lot shorter than the AC Milan one; could (I stress) be seen as POV.

[edit] The Match

  • Perhaps add a "problems" section - not necessary but the 2007 article has one.
  • a clumsy foul: cliché
  • Perhaps wikilink offside.
  • A very short first half section - the half that AC Milan dominated - POV perhaps?
  • in both cases the goalscorers had benefited from an unawarded free kick - unclear what is being said here.
  • nothing to separate the teams - cliché
  • Some more sources, maybe? The whole match part relies on [33] and [34].
  • blasted the ball horribly and cool chipped finish: POV
  • Vladimir Šmicer also scored for Liverpool, with his last kick in a Liverpool shirt. What happened to him? Did he move, or collapse dead? Unclear.
  • The trophy section would be better merged into the match summary - perhaps as "Post-match"?

[edit] References

  • Wow, UEFA everywhere! Perhaps some other sources? BBC? Liverpool Echo?

Apart from that (and it is a lot) it's good to go. The reviewer might give some more points for you though. And it really does need more pictures. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 21:12, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

Oh, very well. I can't find it in WP:MOS so I'll let that slide. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 21:23, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] My user page

(In response to your comment on my talk page.)

Well actually, I just don't like how it looks now :) It's just a bunch of things together... But to give you a hint, I like the pages of Alison, Dreamafter and LaraLove. Something in that genre is always ok. :) I just need a framework, the content I can add later. Nothing on my current userpage needs to 'survive'.

Thanx! --Pelotastalk 16:45, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Editor review

Hey mate, i've finished up reviewing your editor review page. Let me know if you need any clarification or whatnot; i was actually very impressed! oh, and if you have time i also have an editor review waiting to be filled; be as harsh as you want. thanks! Ironholds (talk) 10:42, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] May 2008

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Premier League 2007-08. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Tiptoety talk 19:27, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Okay, as long as you promise to no longer violate it, and stop edit warring (which might I add is also a block-able offense) then I will not block. But understand that if you continue to disrupt that article any more, you will have your keys taken away so to speak. Tiptoety talk 19:31, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Yes, yes he was. He chose to remove the message though, no big deal. Tiptoety talk 19:35, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
No problem. I will try and keep an eye on the article, but if you find the edit war starting back up please let me know. Thanks, Tiptoety talk 19:41, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday, Finns, from the Wikipedia Birthday Committee! Have a great day!

[edit] Liverpool the best team in Europe

Hey there, thanks for that. I'm still not comfortable putting it in because a) it's LFCTV which is always a tad, how can i put it, 'excitable', and b) even that article says 'set to be'. Personally I'd wait until UEFA actually release it, because who knows if UEFA are going to change the points system or some such. I don't know if this would be a better discussion on the LFC article's discussion page. Let me know what you think. Ged UK (talk) 20:47, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:Trix and Flix.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Trix and Flix.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:52, 8 June 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 20:52, 8 June 2008 (UTC) {subst:di-no fair use rationale-notice|1=Trix and Flix.jpg}} —Angr 20:52, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
