[edit] Gorillaz' "Feel Good Inc." audio commentary
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Gorillaz' "Feel Good Inc." audio commentary article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Happy editing!--Alabamaboy 01:55, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Family Guy
Please see: WP:OR, WP:V, WP:NOT, WP:EPISODE, WP:AVTRIV, and WP:WAF. This is a general purpose encyclopedia. Explaning the jokes to people who can't keep up with the cerebral writing of modern television is contraindicated by policies and guidelines. There is no place for this cruft in the encyclopedia. [edit] Simpsons plots
Hi, I've noticed that you've been adding a lot of detail to plot sections of articles for episodes of The Simpsons. Per WP:PLOT we're supposed to try to keep them as brief as possible and eliminate extended mention of individual and one-off jokes as well as quotes. You are welcome to improve plots where you feel it is possible, but try to avoid adding too many details. -- Scorpion0422 05:37, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, all right. I just finished editing "Homer the Great" before noticing this message. I don't know if that's too detailed, but if it is then I'd certainly not mind if it were reverted. The reason I keep editing the plots is that I've been watching the episodes in order over the last several weeks and have gotten into the habit of checking the Wikipedia entry for each episode shortly after I see it. Anyway, in the future I'll try to keep things more brief and keep quotes and one-off jokes to a minimum. Thanks.--Fingerknöchelkopf (talk) 05:54, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:BloodroseSpine.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:BloodroseSpine.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 10:36, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:FlintlockeWANTED.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:FlintlockeWANTED.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 18:51, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
