[edit] Walkin Street
According to A Finnegans Wake Gazetteer, Walker Street (as it is given in some versions of the ballad) is in Boston or New York City. Tim Finnegan was an Irish emigré, a navvy who helped to build America's great cities. The ballad is not set in Ireland. Eroica 14:57, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
I always thought it was Hawkins Street, in Dublin Bolak77 09:51, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vaudeville?
Isn't the use of the term "vaudeville" in this article something of an anachronism? Shouldn't it be "music hall"? There is no relevant citation, so it's hard for me to sort out. - Jmabel | Talk 06:43, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
I concur - it should be music-hall. I will amend it. --Seamasmac (talk) 23:16, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
