Talk:Financial Regulator
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Should this article really be titled "Financial Regulator"? that seems to me to be a generic term whcih could apply to any egulator, where as this is specifically about the Irish one. shouldn't the main page to which redirects are aimed be called "Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority"? - I do not believe their is a need to disambiguate the title, having said that of their is an overiding need then Financial Regulator (Ireland) maybe the most appropriate. I believe their is not a need, because in general such named regulators tend more often to use additional works such as "agency", "authority", "commission", "service", "supervisory" and such in addition to financial regulator - indeed in many cases financial regulator is not used togetheir.
