[edit] Anti-piracy measures

No source verifies this..if you look around on the web also, many people suspect its just some kind of bug (this has happened with games in the past, and wasnt piracy). Also I contacted Square Enix about this myself and they said they knew nothing about it. Editing the article accordingly now. --Sean.ridgeley (talk) 04:30, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

It may very well be that the hardware simply introduced a bug that caused a retail demo mode but sources have verified an issue. The issue may not deserve to be in the article yet, but I'm unconvinced the discussion should be close.
The current source of deletion uses "Solved 2107 the "Thanks" problem" as reasoning for deleting the section. From what I can see, R4 has only stated they've solved the problem, meaning the game is playable on ROM with an R4 card. While the problem may be solved from R4's standpoint, I couldn't find any evidence to suggestion that the hardware bug was exploited intentionally as an anti-piracy measure. Getting around an unconfirmed anti-piracy measure that causes incorrect gameplay can be scene as fixing a bug from R4's view.

[edit] Note

I must say, this is a very bad article. I came here with the simple intent of finding out what kind of game this was (which I was only able to find on the original game's page). Instead, I am presented with a multitude of information regarding in-depth gameplay and other not too useful things. Definitely needs improvements. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.137.130.109 (talk) 02:46, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

For now, go to IGN.com and read the review, its very descriptive. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 02:58, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

I just added the trailer to ffccds. They marked it as ff3 but its not(Duh)

[edit] IGN December 15 article

I removed the quoted text. We can get information about this from there and use it as a reference, but it's against policy to just quote an entire article. The text seems to have been taken from here.--WikiSlasher 05:59, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Ring of Fates"?

just wondering if anyone else suspects they translated the name wrong? The trailer shows multiple rings, and 'fates' just sounds weird. I think once they put up an english site, the name will be corrected as "Rings of Fate"

Well...the official logo indicates otherwise. 66.178.141.175 19:31, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
