[edit] American vs European

Should these be the same article? It seems not to me, due to the anthology including different games for the two regions. - shuri 30 June 2005 21:35 (UTC)

Honestly, I don't see the point. The article is currently only just larger than a stub, and splitting it would only serve to create two articles that we'd be hard-pressed to make into anything other than stubs. Besides, there's a whole paragraph on Final Fantasy V here that applies to both versions, and so we'd either end up duplicating content or requiring people looking for information on the European version to look at the American version article anyway (or vice versa). The distinction is outlined pretty prominently in the intro paragraph, and that seems sufficient to me. Just because we can split an article doesn't mean we should, IMO. – Seancdaug June 30, 2005 23:37 (UTC)
Did the European version contain anything like Final Fantasy Anthology - Music From FFV And FFVI as the American version did? ~ Hibana 19:05, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Comment

Final Fantasy Anthology has FFV and FFVI in North America, while the European release had FFIV and FFV in there. I have heard from some reviewers that FFVI has uncensored graphics. Is that true? I have also heard that FFVI's graphics, sound and gameplay remained unchanged from the original version. What are the changes in the NA release?Sjones23 02:08, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cross split

Is there any way this article could be split up into the different games that it includes? Thoughts? Judgesurreal777 06:18, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

> Its just way too small to think about it. Best right now, I think, is to just get rid of it and to incorporate it into the articles for the base games (FFIV, V, VI...) and once somebody finds out more about the development and such of these games, then split them again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.172.52.41 (talkcontribs) 04:39, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

A redirect to a slightly expanded List of Final Fantasy titles#Compilations and collections could perhaps be clearer for readers, given how much the names and the content of those compilations change between countries. Kariteh 12:52, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
