The 2008 Eurovision Song Contest is the 42nd time Finland have participated. On March 1, Teräsbetoni was voted to represent Finland with its song "Missä miehet ratsastaa" (Where men ride). Finland competed in the first semi-final held on May 20, and qualified to compete in the final where they finished in 22nd position with 35 points.
