Fingertips is a Portuguese band that sings in English, with some alternative soundsbut mostly pop rock, alternative rock and ballad rock. They reached success in Portugal with their first single "Melancholic Ballad (For The Leftlovers)", followed by the song "Picture Of My Own", (soundtrack of an advertisement on TV), both from their first album All 'Bout Smoke 'n Mirrors. Their second album Catharsis released in 2006 has produced three hit singles in Portugal, "You're Gone", "Move Faster" and "Cause to Love You" who have been in the national tops.
The band has participated in Festival de Vilar de Mouros and in Rock in Rio Lisbon [1]. They have also opened concerts for Nelly Furtado, The Corrs, Queen and George Michael[2].
