Fingers and Knives is an experimental indie band formed in 2005 by singer-songwriter Evan Yates. While Yates is the predominant writer and instrumentalist for Fingers and Knives' recordings, he often employs the talents of other friends and musicians when recording and playing live. Fingers and Knives' first album, Humming Cables, was entirely self-produced and distributed, for sale only by mail or through iTunes Store. Its follow-up, Soft Fingers, Warm Glow is currently in production.
