Fine Lines is a new Japanese rock band that consist two members from band called Husking Bee. Their dual emotionally charged vocalists, and impressive musicianship of the members: Tetsuya Kudo on bass, Kazuya Hirabayashi on guitar and vocals, George Kurosawa on guitar and backing vocals and Yutaka Katayama on drums. The rhythm section thrives in this band, able to create atmosphere with its own frantic, punchy playfulness. After Husking Bee disbanded in March 2005, Kazuya's unforgettable vocal and his musicianship have been long-awaited.

They released two singles so far: Write to Me and Small Red Light. They also released a split single Small Happiness with band Corner. Their first full-length album, substratosphere, was released on March 21st, 2007.

Kazuya Hirabayashi, the singer, provided the vocal voice for Koyuki Tanaka in the anime BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. Their sound is similar to that of Husking Bee, but brings a playful sound to music.
