There is tremendous overlap between the Business, Economics, and Finance categories. All three need a lot of work... any chance we could form a working group to try to tackle everything at once? Feco 07:53, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Category:Currencies needs a lot of work... national currencies need to be moved to the Category:National currencies category so that currency-related terms and definitions aren't lost in the crowd. Feco 01:13, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)
There has been some confusion about the Microfinance category. It is currently inside the Credit category. Inside both are articles on micro-credit. While Credit is a category within Finance, Finance cannot be a category within Credit. Microcredit simply denotes loans for poor people, while Microfinance denotes a full range of financial services for poor people. Logically, the Microfinance category is best elevated to the position of distinct category within the Finance category. Brett epic 22:16, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
