Fimbulwinter was a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1992. The band released only one album, Servants of Sorcery, in 1994 before the band broke up. Servants of Sorcery was the first release from newly formed Hot Records, featuring a cover of Celtic Frost's "Morbid Tales" (from their album of the same name).
After the departure drummer and guitarist Shagrath joined Dimmu Borgir and bassist Skoll joined Ulver.
