[edit] List of gay porn stars
Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I've reverted most of your edits to the List of gay porn stars. The article is meant to be a list of performers about whom articles could and should be written here at Wikipedia. The ones you added that I've deleted from the list wouldn't qualify. Please see Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Notability (people), and Wikipedia:Notability (pornographic actors). Thanks.—Chidom talk 07:35, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of David McKay (adult studio owner)
A tag has been placed on David McKay (adult studio owner), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. exolon 01:00, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hint about Wiki links
Hola! One hint about adding a Wikipedia link: Say you mention the term "Adult Video News" three times in an article. You only need to make the first reference a Wiki link. Doing it throughout the article is repetitive and unnecessary (and makes more work for you). Be bold! Keep editing! - Tim1965 15:40, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Did You Know...?"
If you want to get an article into "Did You Know?", you probably should nominate it yourself. First, read the rules. Make sure your article was written within the last five days, is not a stub, and has an interesting fact. Articles which cite sources tend to be picked over those which do not. Second, go to the Did You Know Discussion Page. Scroll down to the date the article was created (not the date you are submitting it). Edit that section. You will type out a "hook" (no longer than 200 characters, and appropriate terms in the hook should be Wikified). Follow the format on the existing DYK page. Make sure that you end the hook with a question mark. After the question mark, add a space, a hyphen, a space, the phrase "(selfnom)" (you are nominating your own article), and then four tildes (~~~~). Save the page. The four tildes will "sign" your hook with your name, and date it. Hopefully, the Wiki editors will find your hook interesting, and it will get on the main page! YAY! - Tim1965 16:06, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
