Who are you? Are you Michael3 and Michael33? RickK | Talk 04:45, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Wikipedia does not require people to disclose their actual name or any other personal information. Nor does Wikipedia require users to disclose multiple user names. However, in response to your question, no, I am not the same person who uses the user name Michael, but yes, removing talk comments from a user page is usually considered helpful - there are numerous examples of such helpful edits to be found in the recent changes log, and the tip of the day yesterday invited anyone to help revert vandalism. Comments added to another persons user page are cited as a form of vandalism elsewhere in Wikipedia.
What is more, the controversial sysop User:Hepheastos innappropriately (*and ineffectually) blocked me from editing, citing no actual violation, but instead advancing a subjective and undefined allegation of "trolling." Participating in controversial dialouge is not trollling, and treating it as such can only damage the intellectual atmosphere this project otherwise attempts to foster. User:Filibuster
- Fabricating a story about some sort of "scientific research" is disruptive to the Wikipedia and will not be tolerated. I'm sure you have better things to do. Go do them. - Hephaestos|ยง 05:11, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)

- Since Micheal3 and Filibuster know they are not the same person, you have now revealed your ignorance, born of hostility. Futher, yes, I have many important things to do, but reporting the environment of this emerging communication format is my priority at this moment. And your stance of issuing orders reveals a pathological paternalism that the world will not tolerate from Americans, much less from Texans. And we are conducting research, I did not inititate it, I asked to see the research product, and have contacted Michael3 for more details. If you had a smidgen of intellect, you could have done the same, but since you crave conflict, nicotine, ethyl alchohol, caffiene and other drugs over intellectual discourse, you missed an opportunity to learn something and to establish dialogue.
