Template:Film collapsible
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Usage
This template is only for use (instead of {{film}}) with the collapsible Project header, where inclusion of the {{upgrading needed}} box may be ugly. This should, if relevant, be included outside the hideable box.
Please note: This template should be transcluded ({{Film collapsible}}) and not substituted (subst) because it employs conditional code. Transclusion also allows easy updating of all the Project's talk pages without having to edit thousands of pages.
{{Film collapsible |class = |importance= |attention= |peer-review= |old-peer-review= |past-collaboration= |start= |end= |article= |hide-auto-cats= |small= |needs infobox= }}
- class: Options are FA, A, GA, B, Start, Stub, Dab, Template, Cat, NA. If blank, this will default as Unassessed. Descriptions of the options can be found at Category:Film articles by quality. NA is "not applicable".
- importance: Top, High, Mid, Low, No. If blank, this will default as Unknown priority. Descriptions of the options can be found at Category:Film articles by importance.
- attention: Answer yes if the page needs immediate attention, otherwise remove this line.
- peer-review: Answer yes if the page is currently nominated for Peer review by WikiProject Films at WP:FILMPR, otherwise remove this line.
- old-peer-review: Answer yes if the article has received a peer review from WikiProject Films per the option above, otherwise remove this line.
- past-collaboration: If the article was previously a "Cinema Collaboration of the Week", set this variable as a date (e.g. 1 June - 14 June 2006), otherwise remove this line.
- start: If the article was a collaboration and you would like to show the improvements made, put in the oldid (the version of the page when the collaboration started), otherwise remove this line.
- end: If the article was a collaboration and you would like to show the improvements made, put in the newid (the version of the page when the collaboration ended), otherwise remove this line.
- article: Used with the start/end option, allows the link to show up correctly. Type in full-article name, with underscores instead of spaces, otherwise remove this line.
- hide-auto-cats: Answer yes if you are using this template in an example.
- small: Answer yes if the page is of a controversial or highly public articles with numerous peer review, WikiProject, featured article, good article, to-do, and other message boxes. This allows the small message boxes to float on the right and the contents of the talk page start at the top.
- needs infobox: Answer yes if the article needs an {{Infobox Film}}. It is duplicate to the placement of {{needs film infobox}}.
