Fillan, Norway

Fillan is a village and former municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway.
Fillan was separated from Hitra as a municipality of its own January 1, 1886. The district of Sandstad was separated from Fillan July 1, 1914. The two municipalities were both (together with Kvenvær) again merged with Hitra January 1, 1964.
