Filipe Gui Paradela Maciel da Costa (born August 30, 1984), usually referred to as Filipe da Costa is a Portuguese footballer who is currently playing at Poli Timişoara in the Romanian Liga I.

da Costa signed for Yorkshire side, Leeds United on 31 August 2007 on a free transfer from Ionikos[1]. He had short spells at Amora, Sp. Braga B and Reggiana. He then went to Greece and had a three year stay at Ionikos before moving to Elland Road. da Costa has also had loan spell a Larissa where he won the Greek Cup. On Friday the 5th of October 2007 da Costa finally got his long awaited International clearance to play for Leeds United.

da Costa made his full debut for Leeds in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, but after receiving an inexplicable red card in a cup game and a series of injuries, he swiftly disappeared from the first-team squad. In January 2008, Scottish side Falkirk tried to bring him for his side but financial difficulties impeded the move. After a brief trial period at English side MK Dons, da Costa's contract at Leeds was cancelled and he left the club.

He signed in the summer of 2008 for Romanian side Poli Timişoara.
