Filipów is a village in Poland located in Podlachian Voivodeship, Suwałki County. The village is a seat of Filipów Commune (Polish: Gmina Filipów). It had a population of 1814 in 2006. Formerly a town, Fałków had a city rights from 1570 to 1870, when, as many other former towns in Poland, it lost this status after the January Uprising.
