I seem to identify politically with socialism. How did this happen? I happen to think that it is flawed mainly because of the self interest that all humanity , all governments, and even i have. socialism is way too optimistic to work in practice just like capitalism or a free market economy.
Yet, i find myself agreeing with the socialist agenda even though as a realist, i know, nothing remotely close to what they are proposing
will ever happen in the u.s.. Not without a bloody coup, which as a pacifist, i am opposed to, and as a pragmatist, i just don't see happening any time soon.
Practicing social justice can require one to act in ways that put you and those you love in danger. Sometimes it is required by one's
conscious to not comply with the law's of society. This is not an easy path, but for a just man, what choice is there but to be noncomplient?
