Fighter is a documentary film about Arnošt Lustig and Jan Wiener, two Czech Jews living in America who return to the Central Europe to revisit their traumatic past. The film was directed by Amir Bar-Lev.
The film received a Special Jury Citation in the 2000 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Best Documentary at the Newport International Film Festival, Best Documentary at the Galway Film Festival, and the audience award at the Hamptons International Film Festival.[1]
