Fight and Love with a Terracotta Warrior (Chinese: 古今大战秦俑情; pinyin: Gǔjīn Dàzhàn Qínyǒng Qíng; 1989) is a Chinese/Hong Kong film about a forbidden love between a court lady and a soldier in the Qin dynasty that is reborn in the 1930s when the reincarnation of the girl who remembers nothing enters the grave of Emperor Qin only to find a still living ancient warrior. It was produced in part by Hong Kong director Tsui Hark, and directed by Ching Siu-tung.
Gong Li plays the female protagonist Twon, whose character much resembles Willie Scott from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and director Zhang Yimou acts as the terracotta warrior. Note that this is one of the only films where Zhang Yimou plays the leading role.
