I moved the article to field ration for now because the term "combat ration" smacks of being a rather modern American term. Google searches support "field ration", but arguments to the contrary are welcome. Just please don't try to claim that we have to go by whatever the army calls it.

im glad that the information of the colombian ration its completely accurate. i was talking just last week with a soldier and he told me that the rations are exactly like the ones described in the article. i might add a translation of (Tamal, Envueltos, Lentejas con chorizo, Arvejas con carne, Garbanzo a la madrileña, Arroz atollado, Ajiaco con pollo, Sudado con papas y carne, etc) in the future. keep up the good work.

I saw that under the France section, some foods are in French when it could be easily translated in english. Pomme-de-terre, as a example can be translated as Potato . I consider this vandalism, as this is the English section of wikipedia. Can someone change this?
