Talk:Field agent

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I guess an agent working for the United States goverment would have to sign Form SF-312.

Field agent is sent on field missions.

Some United States national security buildings are contained in Faraday cages, intended to act as a TEMPEST shield, and possibly also as a mitigation against electromagnetic pulse.

If he is captured and interrogated, he will not admit that he work for his agency. If an agent is captured, hes goverment/agency/contractor might deny his existence or any association with him?

Fictional agent Sydney Bristow has on many occasions weared a wig.

Is trained in martial arts? like maybe Krav Maga, Defendu, Defendo, Close Quarters Combat (CQC) ?

Maybe have a camera? Maybe he have a gas mask?

Is an "operative" the same thing as field agent? if not whats difference?

[edit] Missions

What does he do on his missions? assassination? surveillance? infiltration?

[edit] Field agent and NOC

How to tell the difference between them? It sounds same to me.

I think it is the same, but I am not entirely sure. -- Frap 09:15, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Not really. A field agent is a job, occupation, profession etc.. Non-official cover is just a term. A field agent will be under an NOC, for example. Seriphyn 16:26, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Since you seem to know something, maybe you could improve the article, else it maybe sucks so much we should delete it? i don't know! -- Frap 19:06, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, I'm flattered lol, but, the knowledge is just layman's really. I'm lost as much as you are on how we could improve this, though I think it addresses the point already. Perhaps some examples of field agents in media couldn't go amiss however. Seriphyn 17:33, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
