The Fiery-tailed Awlbill (Avocettula recurvirostris) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family.
It is found in Brazil, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
