Fidelia Fielding

Fidelia Hoscott Fielding (1827 - 1908) was the last native speaker of the Mohegan Pequot language. Diaries that she kept in the language were preserved and were used to reconstruct it. She was a mentor to Gladys Tantaquidgeon.
