Fiddler Records

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fiddler Records was a record label based out of Los Angeles, California.[1] It was founded by Amy Fleisher in 1996. Its first release was from the Vacant Andys (Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional's first band), it was a 7" gold vinyl record called "Anodyne". Fiddler's next notable signing was A New Found Glory (who in 1999 dropped the A, and are now just New Found Glory). Fiddler released a five song E.P. for the band entitled "It's All About The Girls." The E.P. features a photo of bass player Ian Grushka as a child on a swingset.[2]

As of January 2007, the Fiddler Records website no longer exists. The creators left this note in black text on a white background:
"Gone fission' Fiddler no longer exists in the physical nor the metaphysical world. Thanks for the postcards. We're all out of cats."[4]
