[edit] Hikari no Yukue

The article states that the song was recorded by FictionJunction WAKANA, whereas the El Cazador web-site lists the same title for the OP of the series - performed by savage genius. If possible, I'd like someone to clarify that. --Koveras  10:20, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey Koveras, I was using this as my reference when I added that in. Maybe my interpretation of the Japanese text is incorrect, but I do believe it's saying that FJ WAKANA's insert song '光の行方', is a recording that's on the sound track. --Remy Suen 15:28, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
The source looks reliable enough. :) --Koveras  15:47, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

I can understand your confusion, however, you made a small mistake. The song 光の行方 ("hikari no yukue", which literally translates to "light's whereabouts") by savage genius is released on their single (which is also called "hikari no yukue"). The single was released on the 16th of May 2007, Victor Entertainment VICL-36611. This song was NOT written by Kajiura Yuki (songwriter of FictionJunction YUUKA), though Kajiura Yuki DID do the arrangements of hikari no yukue by savage genius.

The other song, also 光の行方, but by FictionJunction WAKANA, predates the one by savage genius. It was released on the 21th of February 2007, included on "Shin Kyuseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken Raoh Den Junai no Sho / Yuria Den ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK I," Universal Studios UMCK-1219 and UMCK-9158. On this soundtrack were three versions of the song. Track 33 went by the Japanese name, 光の行方. Track 18 and 35 went both by the name of "where the lights are," followed by the addition of "shew" and "(Japanese Version)" respectively. Note that all the songs on this soundtrack are composed (written) and arranged by Kajiura Yuki.

As I have heard all of the 4 "hikari no yukue" songs mentioned above, I can confirm that the song by savage genius is different from the three by FictionJunction WAKANA. I'd also like to add that FictionJunction.com is a reliable source, because it is the official site of all FictionJunction projects (though the collaboration with Nanri Yuuka predominates).
