After reading through the wiki definition on mold making I realized that it's a little out of date. While many Fabricators still use wax-based mold release agents it's really a dinosaur. The addition of polymer based mold release agents that bond to the mold are taken over the industry due to the problem wax causes with streaking of parts and residue being left in the molds from the sacrificial wax agents.
