FIBA Africa Championship 2003

The FIBA Africa Championship 2005 was hosted by Egypt from August 7 to August 16, 2003. The games were played in Alexandria. This FIBA Africa Championship was to earn the one berth allocated to Africa for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Angola won the tournament, the country's 7th African championship and therefore qualified for the Olympics.
