[edit] Adoption: Take Two

FGWQPR, thank you for accepting me as your new adopter. I've archived your old adoption page to /Archive 1, to give us a fresh start - and also because I've transcluded this page at my adoption subpage. So, let's get started. First, some introductory questions:

  • What is the meaning/history of your username?
Well, fristly the suffix, QPR, that is the football team I support. Here: Queens Park Rangers.

Then the prefix FGW, well they are my local Train Operating Company and trains are waht I am interested in. First Great Western is also the page I edit most. --FGWQPR (talk) 19:13, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Have you done much of your old "Task 3", that is, participating in the AFDs?
No, that is what I aim to do this weekend. --FGWQPR (talk) 19:13, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
    • If so, what have you learned about Wikipedia's deletion process?
    • Would you consider yourself a deletionist, inclusionist, or somewhere in between?
  • Please move your adopted userbox somewhere onto your main page - for proper categorization.
Done. --FGWQPR (talk) 19:13, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
  • One important (though sometimes mundane) Wikipedia task is fixing links to disambiguation pages. Take a look at Wikipedia:Disambiguation pages with links and see if you can lend a hand. If you like, you can start by disambiguating the links that have "mushroomed" at PC, which is a disambiguation page that I have 'adopted'. Feel free to ask any questions about this task here, or at my talk page. xenocidic (talk) 18:47, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Will take a look. --FGWQPR (talk) 19:13, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
