FGC line S2

— S2 is an FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) suburban line, part of Metro del Vallès. The S stands for "suburbà". It links Barcelona with Sabadell, in Vallès Occidental, and its termini are Barcelona - Pl. Catalunya and Sabadell - Rambla. It extends from Barcelona metropolitan area fare zone 1, where it runs underground, to zone 2. It's part of the fare-integrated Autoritat del Transport Metropolità network centered around Barcelona, and of the complete commuter train network of Rodalies Barcelona.
S2 is being extended at the moment in Sabadell in which is going to be known as Sabadell Metro.
